Border
Collie

Once my head was in the dark,
When I met a dog in a park.

It approached me with a stick
Looking at me, like I was sick.

I don’t have a mood for this.
Balancing on the edge of abyss.

It nudged me with its nose that’s wet.
“Outrageous” I though. We’ve just met!

I grabbed the stick and threw it far
But the dog didn’t move at all!

My laughter took me out of smog.
I have just been pranked by a dog.

And this little act of life
Kept the folk away from knife.
